Under Kind I see an entry called Folder which out of 130GB on my MBP running Leopard consumes 5.6GB. At first I thought that maybe this referred to the amount of disk space used by Folders as such but it can't be that as when I do "Show Files In Selection List" it shows me 161 folders, and I know my MBP has rather more than 161 folders (there are 78500+ folders under my home folder alone of which only 3 show in that list of 161, including ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library which consumes most of that space)

An inspiration from out of the blue plus a little digging leads me to the belief that this 'Folder' kind is a list of folders which have extended attributes associated with them, though I haven't dug enough to see if this refers to a specific xattr or just any.

Can you maybe clarify please?
