I have two files I cannot delete. They are listed as: users/myname/.Trash/.BAH433/VirtualPC List/New XP.vpc7/.ds_Store
users/myname/.Trash/.BAH417/VirtualPC List/New XP.vpc7/.ds_Store
I "Move these files to the trash" but they show up the next time I do a new disk inventory. After moving these files to the trash, they do not show up in the trash so I cannot empty the trash.
How do I remove these files from my hard drive? They are taking up 8 GB of space.

These two files are already in the trash. The folder users/myname/.Trash is your user's trash folder. But you can't see these files in the Finder as files with names beginning with a dot "." are not shown (by the Finder).
Just empty the trash and they should be gone.
